Among the various service work carried out in the Seva Mandal, Study room and Library for MPSC students, under the Vivekananda Medical Services- Pathology Lab, Youth Conventions, Vivekananda Balak Sangh, Bal Sanskar classes for Children in vacation, arranging the Lectures and Classes of immanent speakers of the monks of Ramakrishna Math etc.

Regular Puja in the morning and Aarti in the evening are performed every day. Aarti timing as 06.30 pm daily. Aarti is followed by a reading of Swami Vivekananda's inspiring books and then a meditation.
Every year the birthday celebrations Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda are celebrated in auspicious atmosphere through Mangalarati, Stotrapatha, Special Pooja, Havan, Meditation, Aarti, reading of Lives and Reminiscences of Direct Disciples. Apart from this, Hanuman Jayanti, Guru Poornima, MahaShivaratri, Kali Puja, Ganesh Puja, Rama Navami etc. Festivals are also celebrated.
Every Ekadashi there is Shri Geeta Path, Raam Naam Sankirtan, Arati and Shri Ramkrishna Vachanamrut Path.

From last 50 years Seva Mandal is organizing Sanskar Shibir (Retreat) for children. Other than spiritual activities it includes improvement in studies, social awareness and a small trip to nearby destination.
Vivekananda Balak Sangh is run every Sunday from 9 am to 10 am for school students from many years. Around 50 children are benefited from this. These children are taught Srimad Bhagavad Gita, Sanskrit hymns, Bhajans, study of meditation and concentration of mind etc. Different types of competitions are also organized for them. Lectures by various speakers in various fields are also organized. Also, medical camp for these children is also conducted free of charge. A free library is also run for these children. Also, during the summer vacations, special classes are organized for children which gets a spontaneous response.

Ramakrishna-Vivekananda-Vedanta literature reached to the people through this book sales. Book sale is done every day in the evening from 6 to 8 pm.

It is started in the centre in 2008 with the benediction of Srimat Swami Raghaveshanandaji Maharaj (the then Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Belgaum). About 35 to 40 students are benefited from this. There is a separate library for MPSC and UPSC students. It is benefiting all the students and In the year 2022 Seva Mandal expanded Study Room and now 55-60 students are benefitting from this. It was inaugurated by Swami Buddhanandaji Maharaj of Ramakrishna Math, Kolhapur. Many students are benefited and got employed in various positions.

One-day spiritual retreat is being organized in Seva Mandal for many years. Many Senior monks of Ramakrishna Math like Srimats Swami Pitambaranandaji Maharaj, Swami Yogatmanandaji Maharaj, Swami Satyarupanandaji Maharaj, Swami Vipapmanandaji Maharaj, Swami Nilakanthanandaji Maharaj guided the devotees.

Youth Camp: District level Youth Camp has been organized for the last many years. Imminent Speakers guide the youth. This program gets spontaneous response from youths. Guidance is provided on the topics and problems of the youth which are necessary for today's generation.

Half Day Spiritual Retreat: Half Day Spiritual Retreat in every month on the subject “Vivekchudamani” by Swami Buddhanandaji Maharaj, Ramakrishna Math Kolhapur is organized by Seva Mandal

The Seva Mandal organizes various programs, as well as lectures by monks and other speakers of Ramakrishna Math on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Holy Trio. Lectures on life and teachings of Holy Trio are also organised. Similar lectures are organized in schools and colleges in the city and nearby, which always get a spontaneous response.

For many years Late Shri. Sunil Chincholkar delivered lectures on Ramakrishna – Vivekananda, Geeta, Dnyaneshwari, Samartha Ramdas Swami and other spiritual topics.

Vivekananda Medical Seva Kendra: A Homeopathy Clinic has been run by the Seva Mandal for many years. Since the year 2004, it is expanded to Vivekananda Medical Seva Kendra. Many famous doctors of Satara city provide treatment and guidance every day from 5 to 6 pm. About 350 to 400 patients are benefited every month. Through this centre, expert doctors in Satara are providing many important facilities like paediatrics, heart disease and diabetes, psychiatry, gynecology to the needy patients at very nominal rates. Medical camps are conducted under this centre for the benefit of needy patients. Along with this, Pathology Laboratory was started in the year 2008 and this department is running smoothly. Along with psychology facility is also provided to the patients. Various medical camps like Blood Pressure Check up, Diabetes Check up, Cholesterol Check up and Gynecological Diagnosis and Treatment are organized in and around Seva Mandal.

Helping Hand to Needy People (Abhavgrasta Vidyarthi Sahayya) : From last 30 years, all kinds of educational materials and uniforms are distributed to the People of municipal schools and other schools of Satara city every year through Seva Mandal. Many charitable and kind citizens as well as devotees help with their generous donations for these works.

Vriddha Sahayya: Seva Mandal with the help of Late Radha Bai Dhawale and Late Lila-Sushila Memorial Fund helps two elderly women every month since many years.

Seva Mandal participates in the service work done from time to time through Ramakrishna Math Pune. Due to heavy rains in the year 2006, many places were flooded. At that time relief work was done in Patan taluka of Satara district through Ramakrishna Math, Pune. Also, in the year 2016, water was distributed to the villages of Pedgaon and Mandve in drought-prone areas of Khatav taluka of Satara district through 2 tankers for 2 months. Seva Mandal was actively involved in this work. In the year 2018, Flood Relief in Patan, Karad Taluka. Corona Relief in 2020 and 2021. Landslide Relief in 2021 in Thoseghar, Bamnoli, Javali area

Golden Jubilee Year: Established in 1967, Ramakrishna Seva Mandal has made its debut in the golden jubilee year and on that occasion, the Seva Mandal organized various activities/programs for one and a half years. Celebrated from year 2016 to 2018. It included organizing lectures in various schools, colleges, rural areas and camps for students-teachers-parents, competitions in schools and colleges, cleanliness drive in a village under Bharat Swachhata Abhiyan, Narayan Seva in remote areas, various types of medical camps, lectures by various dignitaries, lectures series by the monks of Ramakrishna Mission, religious programs, processions along with release of a souvenir at the concluding event etc. Many different things were planned.

It is well known to all of you that with the blessings of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna and as per the teachings of Swami Vivekananda, our Sri Ramakrishna Seva Mandal at Satara under the guidance of Ramakrishna Math, Nagpur, Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad and Kolhapur doing various service works and cultural and spiritual programs in and around Satara. For that funds are required for the various further works of the Mandal. Bhoomi pujan of the proposed Prayer hall and Sadhu Niwas was done by Srimat Swami Gautamanandaji Maharaj Vice President of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math. We humbly appeal to all citizens, devotees, admirers and well-wishers to help in this noble cause generously. Donations to Seva Mandal are tax exempted as per 80/G.
